Adrian Robson: leading with real-world expertise
Adrian Robson is a seasoned public safety professional based in Richmond County, NC, currently serving as a police officer for Laurinburg. With over 15 years of experience in public safety, he acts as a lead instructor specializing in life-saving interventions. He is uniquely qualified as both an American Heart Association (AHA) certified CPR/AED Instructor and a "Stop The Bleed" Instructor through the American College of Surgeons. Adrian's effectiveness in the classroom stems from his extensive background in high-pressure, real-world environments.

Specialized teaching for real-life readiness
Unlike instructors who only teach theory, Adrian draws from a career in the field, including his time with EMS & fire service. He translates complex medical protocols into practical, actionable steps that work when every second counts. As a police officer, he understands the psychological and physical stress of emergency situations. He teaches students not just how to perform a task, but how to maintain the composure necessary to execute it effectively under duress. His approach is often praised for being straightforward and deeply rooted in the "why" behind every action, making the skills stick long after the class is over.

Confident and ready with stress inoculation
To ensure that every student leaves feeling not just "informed" but truly empowered to act, Adrian Robson and his team focus on a methodology known as Stress Inoculation. Confidence comes from knowing your hands will know what to do even if your mind is racing. Instead of just watching a video, instructors prioritize high-volume, hands-on practice. You won't just do CPR once; you’ll perform it until the rhythm is second nature. For "Stop the Bleed," you'll practice wound packing and tourniquet application on high-fidelity simulators that provide realistic resistance. Adrian’s 15 years in law enforcement and flight medicine (UNC AirCare) allow him to create training scenarios that mimic the sensory "noise" of a real scene. Instructors may introduce distractions, such as loud noises or simulated bystander panic, to help you practice maintaining focus.
"Adrian’s teaching was incredibly clear and hands-on. I feel truly prepared to act in an emergency."
